When that is ignored, we have divisiveness, dehumanisation and mud slinging....instead of the free flow sharing of pure prepping skills, cooperation and encouragement.
One of the problems of this type of language is that it dehumanises, Sheeple, brainwashed, asleep, socialists, etc, it says,"If you don't believe in my ideology, you are my enemy and clearly evil". Rwanda comes to mind. For years, people heard over the radio, had repeated to them over and over that Tutsis were cockroaches. Then one morning, the patriotic Hutus woke up and slaughtered a large portion of the population.
Sooo, wile this conversation has been going on....this is part of the prepping I have been up to. My first attempt at maple sugar using a rocket stove I built. What real prepping did you do?
No kidding. I was waiting for someone to crash this bogus thread. No statistical data, no references presented. But this is precisely what i prep for mostly, maniacs who don't need proof. Unfortunately they're usually the type to be armed to the teeth, from what I've read.
People can whine all they want about our 'services' that 'baby' the populace... there is another thread that started up by a dude presently being thankful for our medicare.
And by the way, Canadians are not 'asleep'. They're just apathetic as all hell. This can be reflected in things like voter turnout. Ultimately, we don't care who we deal with, what we do with our resources.
