Watching the latest drama play itself out on the world stage (Ukraine and Crimea) has got me to thinking about all of the drama witnessed these last five years or so. There has been the Arab Spring - Egypt - Libya - Syria - et. al., the Occupy Movement, Idle No More (and no less it seems), Mumbai Massacre, Kenya Mall Attack, continued hostilities in Afghanistan, Iraq, etc, etc, etc. Is there a common link between all of this nonsense? Is it as simple as redistributing the worlds wealth? Or would that wealth gravitate back to its original holders? Could we neatly blame it all on secularism? How about non-secularism?
