I've just spent over two hours writing a post only to have it deleted when I went to post. I was told I would have to sign in, but of course I was signed in already. Likely I was taking too long to write my post, which is exactly what I was writing about, lol. Now I am tired and can not remember, except to say, I was saying I have problems putting thoughts to paper because of a stroke like symptom I acquired after a multi-year, doctor prescribed regimen of pharmaceuitcal drugs for a life long medical condition. What takes the average person ten minutes to write takes me up to two hours... lol

Peace to all...

There is a time out feature built into the program

make sure you write anything up in another program then copy and paste to the forum.
make sure your also contributing to other areas of the forum a well. As for the medical condition, I can more than relate on a personal level so good luck.
right now I am refusing the Doc prescriptions and starting on a regiment of natural alternatives along with major diet changes to fix me, not just cover the symptoms or as the so called Docs call it... complaints! when did a patient go to complaint from symptoms ???

Wild_e

I've got a friend who I run with who has done something similar. She developed severe arthritis in her thirties, debilitatingly so. The conventional wisdom of the time (about twenty years ago) was to prescribe a complex gauntlet of medications which she would be on for the rest of her life. Instead, she started working on her diet to see if there were foods which were adversely effecting her. She has been able to completely reverse the symptoms of this arthritis and now in her fifties, runs, speed walks competitively, hikes, and enjoys life. For her, gluten, alcohol, red meat, and dairy among others food stuffs have had to be removed from her diet. For some, this would seem a sacrifice; it is nothing compared to the arthritis however. I don't know that this course of action would work on every patient but believe that we all have to take responsibility for our own health. Good luck to you and to Marrii as well.

Cheers,

Antsy

Thank you for this, Wild_E.
Like you,I stopped all phamaceuiticals several years ago and now look to natural substances, herbs, etc. and take care to stay away from all processed food stuffs and anything GMO. But soon, like Great Britain, our natural substances will be
taken from us

As to contributing to other parts of the forum, I'm here to learn, for I know very little about prepping.
But I find myself now with an alarming amount of factual information that is not getting out to the general population and worse, it is being systematically discounted so as not to be believed when it is of critical importance to be heard.
The deception has been so complete, painting the information as something it isn't to discredit it and manipulate people into ignorance of the real life and death situation we are up against.

I wish you all the best in your health recovery... you know what you're doing is right for you

Thank you for your kindness

Peace to all

Hello Antsy

Thank you my dear for your kind words and yes, I agree we need to take responsibility for our health. So glad to read your friend's health made such a turn around! I heard swimming was great for rheumatoid arthritis.

We truly are what we eat - that's why it's so important to know what's in our food and this basic of all basics, knowing what is in out food or how and where it is grown, is being taken away from of us at an alarming rate.

Thank you again.
Take care

Peace to All
