Calgary flooding tonight: CRITICAL

CRITICAL - Calgary is in a state of emergency. According to their numbers, the flood water from canmore (Bow River) will hit the Glenmore dam tonight and will probably overflow according to their calculations. The water levels will most likely be greater than the flood in 2005 which caused the evacuation of 40,000 homes in Calgary alone. We are already in a flood warning with the rain, so once the overflow occurs the drainage system will probably not be able to handle the stress. Please watch this video and SKIP TO 5:15 for the nitty gritty. All of it is important though. If you are near the Elbow or Bow river, get to higher ground. They are even going to turn off utilities today/tonight

All good here, never been so happy to live in the hood. The water will not make it, and if it did , would likely turn back and go the other way 😆

LOL you and me both buddy. Forest lawn and area doesn't look so bad now with its nice high ground well away from the river valleys
