I just want to make sure you are not translating my post as, "Nothing is happening. Go about your lives. Move along citizens."

This is ,quite literally, something I wrote last night on another post about "What would be your sign" that its ON. Run for the hills hysterically.

I was in a particularly playfull mood so I answered...
"What?.... Im confused. You're still waiting for something to happen? Really? (LOL) I've already sold the house and moved to the retreat with three years of busting my arse into it.
I like to quote Ran Prier at moments like this, " If every year from here to 2020 is half as eventful, we'll be living in railroad cars, eating grass, and still waiting for the big crash we've been led to expect from watching movies designed to push our emotional buttons and be over in two hours."

Even, WHEN the banks close, not if, and a riot breaks out here and there...That's not the end of the story, grab your guns and let the adventure story begin. Its just one of a long series bumps. Consider Greece. How many years has that been bumping along for.
