Your call...if you all have a place in Ottawa that you like, I'm up for that. Whatever works for you...I'm just the out of province guest! I just thought that day tripping in a park area would draw less attention if we start a kind of prepper show & tell type of thing. But then again, Anita could probably get a lamb into a parking lot...A park, not so much! 😆

I know this is 20 days after the last post but I would be interested in meet up too. Basically anytime/date works though I have some trips to take but the dates are not confirmed for those yet. I am in the heart of Ottawa but can travel basically anywhere.

I believe there may be a meet in your area in July as someone from out west will be visiting. No deals yet as far as I know.

We are looking at a get together in July, still need to firm up dates, I (farmgal) is part of the hold up, sorry but I am heading out to alberta (hopefully) pending test results to look after my momma for the month of june as she is getting a full knee replacement, but once I have a idea after the surgery on if I will need to be there three or four weeks, and can get an ETA for my flight back, I will be able to get some firm dates available for the july get together, I have been a little busy figuing out places, I have come up with 2 possable "get together places" outside of ottawa, but its also possable that we will stay with the first meeting place, I am open to whatever anyone wants in that regards and will lay out a few different idea's about mid-june for folks to start talking about..

Which days work best of these two weeks in July for the ottawa-Eastern Ontario Preppers get together.. July 14th or 15th or July 21st or July 22nd..

Second do you want it in ottawa at the same place or do you want me to find a day area for a outdoor get together? (figure winter gathering will be indoors in ottawa) but with the better weather, we can have a meet or two in the outdoors if this appeals to the interested folks? If we do vote for a outdoor event, do you want it left open in regards to subject or do we want to pick a subject, example, I could bring my Eco-zoom stove for folks to check etc

I'm good till the July 14-15th weekend, then I'm probably heading west for a few weeks.......
I think an outside get-together would be better than inside a restaurant as we can mill about meeting people.
If we can meet at a park with a few picnic tables then we can have 'show-and-tell' stations.....
I'd like to see your stove, Farmgal. I definitely would love to keep it simple with minimal organization to give more 'networking' time for the participants.

21- 22 works better for me, July 14th is already booked with family.
As to a place, I really have no preference although I agree with Prepher.

I have no idea when I will be avilable but I assume I can be their either of those dates.
I would love to meet somewhere outdoors as I haven't had a nice outdoors-y time since I went to school in the city.
So I am open for everything that has been said basically. 😀

Everyone seems to like the idea of outdoors, so that is what is a go, and I like the idea of keeping it free-flowing but also like the idea of bringing out the ecozoom stove and I will bring a few more of my diferent things, like the stuttle chef, and how about a potluck? lunch, I am thinking a 11am start time and just go from there..
