Eastern ottawa get together -Aug 19 and Sept.23

Sorry but I can't make it this time either........ I REALLY wanted to come and see some familiar faces and meet some new folks.
I hope to read about it next week.

The last time I went up the person that was to look after my mom for me never showed, called, texted....nothing. Until I find someone reliable enough I won't be able to do anything on weekends any more.

So with the number of folks who won't be able to make the meet this coming sunday, are there folks who are planning on coming? or do we want to look at moving it to a later date in oct?

Dh is taking in a writers conference on the saturday and it runs on sunday as well but he was willing to not go in order to come and do the meet with me on sunday but if we are looking at a low turnout due to the date, and we want to move it to a date in oct, then I know that he would be pleased to attend on the sunday as well..

So having said that if there are folks that are sure they are coming, it will take place as planned, let me know? Please an thanks..

I would love to attend another of our meets but unfortunately I cannot make the one on Sept 23rd. I am running into the same problem with the North East meet I was planning for Sept 29th. It looks like only three people so far so I might have to look at alternate arrangement. Good luck with your meet and I hope to make it to your neck of the wood again sometime.

I am sure that at some point in the future, we will indeed meet again, so far I have gotten a number of can't make its but no, can.. so given this information, I am going to recommend moving this to the third weekend sunday in Oct? Is that date open to folks that would be interested in coming out?

Please let me know if that weekend works better for the closer folks? Thanks..

I have been really busy with school and work and hadn't logged on until today. Noticed this post so I didn't even know of it going on until the day after...sigh

Are you thinking of trying to get to the possably planned third weekend of Oct get together? It could be either sat or sunday depending on what works best for everyone, let me know?

Bummer...already have plans that weekend.
