Hello Scrounger
Not sure where you are but there is a Gunsmith in Leamington.
A list of "smiths" in Ontario can be found here:- http://www.manta.com/world/.../Ontario/guns_and_gunsmiths--B63AD05
FYI:I have dealt with Gunsmiths in both Peterborough and Petawawa... Both are excellent. The Gunsmith in Petawawa is ex-military and does very good work so, if push comes to shove, you can't find anyone in your area OR Epp's is to expensive, you could always ship the shotgun to one of them.

Have you called Shooters Choice up in Waterloo? They seem to be the "goto" place inthe region for anything firearms related. If they don't do it, they will probably be able to reference you to someone who can.

Does anyone in SW Ont have a gunsmith they would recommend to do the following work, cut down and recrown a shotgun barrel and cut the threads to install Rem chokes. I have priced the work at Epps, but would like to find someone a bit closer.

Thanks

Gobles in London does alot of work....

Thanks for the replies. I will look into a few of these guys. Not to keen on Shooters Choice though. Never get a warm fuzzy dealing with them. They have bought the Bow Shop from George. Hope their less then stellar customer service doesn't make it's way there.
The job would cost me about one sixty at Epps. No idea if this is high or not.

Precision Arms & Gunsmithing on King Rd., in King City. Damaged one of my rifles and he did a great repair job for a good price.
