Thanks for the information. We have located a property that we are quite interested in...we are in limbo right now....it is perfect it has a natural apple orchard...a natural sand pit ....its on a river and has a small private lake....and its not too far ....so please if anyone has an interest we are looking for a few like minded people to join us ...a reminder we are pro defence/self reliant thanks

What exactly do you mean by your last sentence?

What region. I havent got much, but I could help with a fair amount of light work, and repairs.

If you choose a location where the prevailing wind is from the West or the South it may be prudent to check out the map of North American reactors, at:

Wonderful news indeed, I am hoping to bug in on my own farm but I had seen you are hoping to make it to the ottawa area meetings and I would be more then willing to share some extra splittings in the spring if you have any need for them on the new farm, and love the sound of the apple's, maybe you can bring some apples or cider for sale or bater for the fall meetings?

Must be so very excited about this new step in your world and wishing you the very best for finding a few good folks to work with you on this.

This is pretty exciting! The AB group is trying to formulate what we are all looking for ourselves right now. Tossing around the ideas of a legal association such as a co-op, developing an "rv park" initially or going right for the self-sufficient off-grid village. We don't have a direction in which to run just yet.

Just having the land is a major victory. Hope it all goes well.

check out a site online called Wild Horse Ranch...it is in Alberta but i am saying to check it out because they are building a self sufficient village, they have people come stay there and learn trades for up to a couple of years, then while they are learning they are building the village...it is interesting to see what they are doing and may give you some ideas
