20 bars of Method Bloq Natural Body Bars soap for $1.98!!!
Individual 4.5oz cello wrapped or two of them in the box if you wanted them in the box your choice 10 bars/99cents.
I got them at Len's Mill Store and they're a lovely moisturizing bar that I've been buying at Dollar Tree and Dollarama for the past few years.
It's a really good quality bar of soap and they smell wonderful and they store well.
I'm the lady you're stuck behind in the grocery store with the over loaded cart filled with cases of tuna, peanut butter, huge bags of rice and the weary looking husband
Someone here posted an interesting link ( http://baconandeggs-scifichick.blogspot.ca/2011/03/one-year-supply-of-food-storage-under.html ) so I got started in accumulating the dried goods listed there. I'm buying smaller 2-5 lbs bags so it will take longer to get the suggested amount, but in $20 increments, it seems reasonable. Just chipping at it!
I like that site also,as I'm just starting
thank you
underwater is safer than land
picked up a Romanian AK47 bayonet with scabbard (hard to call it a sheath when it's solid).. yes evil bay but got for a decent price
can't wait for my new bed to arrive so I can store stuff under it.. running out of space both for food and other.
in concert with the new bed will be a purge of not only "prepper" stuff but my stuff in general. gotta keep the bad hoarding urges under control.

For me: nothing material this time. But I am taking CPR (Level C - which is treating both adults and children). So it's a prepping skill I am adding.

Important skill set to have!
OK, so today I also gotten a "Luggable Loo" for camping this summer, but it can also be used in a SHTF situation.
I have been doing some searches on the web about bags and such, and alternate means of using this loo sans chemicals. It seems that a lot of suggestions are out there to use ordinary garbage bags (the stronger large ones, usually black in colour) and line them up with kitty litter. A few have also suggested to not use a bag and go with sawdust, wood shavings, peat moss, or a combination.

Geoste, the new SAIL store down in Cambridge sells these for around $20 bucks. If you kept your receipt from CT maybe check it out.
There is a chemical product (I forget the name) that they sell alongside these portable toilets you add as they are used. Usually a few bucks for 300ml or so.
The garbage bag w. an absorbent is a great idea. Gonna pick some up this week!

SAIL also has Coleman fuel on for a bit over 15 bucks a gallon. You are not going to find it anywhere in Ontario for under twenty. It was that price when it opened and was still that when I was there 2 weeks ago.
Sad but true, I am going to have to get a loo. Just in case.... added to my list. Thanks Crownsman.
