Tearing out my EFI system and replacing it with a carburetor system . making my vehicle immune to EMP. Sure my 20 $ EBAY stereo my be toast but push and go will do.
no i am actually gaining hp and mileage. Its a 30 yr old system that was overly complex. by going carb i also ditch the computer stuff now its running on a brand new weber carb thats fully adjustable . The original system is a real spaghetti nest of wires and hoses I had tried many times to find vacum leaks and tracing issues . I had enough. so its easier to maintain and run this way. side benefit is its now less problematic if someone decided to pop a EMP device at my truck
Jimbo,
Definitely concede you have the emp angle covered. And maybe the hp increase. Pretty skeptical on the mileage gain though. What truck/motor combo are you running. If you took pics through the process, that would be a cool post.
4 cyl isuzu 2.6 l yea with the ITEC system it was epa'd to USA specs. so it was under rated. its not alot but its a bit
I picked-up a 3 man, 4 season tent (ALPS Mountaineering Tasmanian 3 with footprint). This is a relatively inexpensive winter tent that has two vestibules for storing gear (or in a pinch another sleeper). It's been found to be stable in heavy rain/snow and high winds. It's a little heavier than more expensive winter tents, but it's a good value for the price.
None you improvise, one (or more) is luxury.

I just got one of these little things. It's more for a bug in situation . these throw a fantastic amount of radiant heat for the size and fuel used. I know i can run fondue ,lamp, kerosene etc oils to provide a heat and cooking source
What’s good about petrol based systems is that one can use oils from abondoned cars, trucks, boat........ and burn directly or maybe even refine a bit to burn better. If your not able to easily access wood, you may be able to drain some old oil pans!
