It is called Easter cheese because it is always made for EASTER in East Europien countries. You can not store it just keep in fridge and consume in few days.
Since it is Easter we just made it. The only different is that we use only milk, eggs and salt, so the process is slightly different. Very simple.
It is real delicatessen, my grandchildren love it.

Leatherman Juice S2 - will become my EDC knife and multi-tool
2X Decent capacity water resistant USB battery packs with loop to carry via carabineer or cord.
A Smallish USB rechargeable Digital Radio with Speaker
More added to the canned food store - chicken, tuna, salmon, soups, ready meals

A magnifying phone holder - put smartphone or my tiny tv on it and watch through a lens.
Cleared some more out of the cupboards and gave my young nephew some of my WWE collectables.

I grew up on Looney Tunes, Marx Brothers mvies and Robin Williams, Enter my mind at your own risk
upgraded our little hybrid camper for a light-weight toyhauler (new to us). More room for us and dogs and supplies.
I figure it is great right now for camping and hunting and if the depression actually comes, we have a mobile home now if we need it.
-My sister registered me for a nearby 25x50 foot allotment garden - YAY! 🙂 (I was out of town so she did it on my behalf)
-hoe, rake, shed lock, misc garden baskets and doodads

Shopping for a new enclosed utility trailer (6x10')
Purchased a new rifle
Ordered a pair of Baofeng radios
So, I did get a utility trailer. It will serve to move some stuff back to Canada and, maybe one day, may see some basic conversions to a BOT.
Found surplus metal 50BMG ammo cans in excellent conditions and grabbed 5 for $40.
Received my radios but won't have time to set them up for a while.
Dropped a big mountain ash in my backyard and made way for a 16X8 Vegetable garden. Veggies are already planted, just need to get them in the ground.
busy few weeks...
We brought home a 24' toy hauler (new to us) in basically brand new shape, bought from friends who used it only 4x. With the state of the current AB economy, it was a steal of a deal!
Since we don't own any toys and will only be transporting ourselves, dogs and bicycles, we figure it will hold a lot more supplies than our little hybrid tent trailer did. The hybrid took under 16 hours to sell and that money went directly towards the new purchase.
We also figure that if times get really bad and people start losing their homes, we can always uproot and take to the road. Traveling wherever there is work to be found. If the world doesn't end, we have a great tool for recreation and hunting for years to come. We have a generator but are now saving up for the heavy duty solar panels.
The dear missus planted the root vegetables this past week as the weather has been incredible out here. The tomatoes and herbs will wait until the May Long Weekend before moving outside of course.
We both also signed up for a 3-gun clinic in May, which will be an opportunity to have fun and build confidence under dynamic situations. We already have IPSC Black Badges but they are rusty lol.
Picked up a 4 x 8 utility trailer for $50.
Increased bugout capacity!
Roughly10 dozen cans of various canned goods the other day. 20 lbs of dry pasta. Came up with 5 old, old (higher quality) axe heads. Going to make some new handles for them all here in my woodworking shop. Getting ready to build a new 8 X 12 shed. Tear down an older one once that is built. Then a new Greenhouse in the fall.
No jokes..please... 😉 This is a new endeavor and I'm in complete noob/learning mode! Tomatoes, Watermelons, Peppers, lettuce, beans & the haning basket(unseen) is grape tomatoes.
We added a 10'x15' garden in the back yard. Aside from fighting some ant colonies I think we are off to an 'ok' start...knock on wood...

Hi I am not laughing, good for you, but I do have a question, looking at the area you planted, where in there did you plant watermelons? are you planning on putting up a vertical climbing area for them to grow up and then supporting the fruits (assuming they are the small ones) or are you planning on taking down the one fence and running the plants into the lawn on the side.. because even a couple watermelon plants will fill your whole garden space and fight, crowd out all the other plants 🙂

We have some vertical supports I was planning on using. The watermelons were started indoors about 6-8 weeks ago...so still kind of small and they are farthest away in the photo. Even the tomatoes (closest in the pic) are kind of small..started at the same time. We planted the watermelons at 2' on centres...I thought that would be far enough apart from eachother? It would give them room to grow in there own 2'x2' area...does that sound like trouble ahead for me? If I have to move them its easy enough now before the plants get to big. I'd be happy for any tips you think would make this better. I still have about 20 square feet unused in the garden plot I could spread them out...I dont want them growing past the fence as we have a serious rabbit issue in the neighbourhood.
Same with the tomatoes...when they got big enough we planned on putting the stakes in the ground for the vines to grow up.... Funny storey...I had no idea what I was doing when planting the seeds a couple months ago...just that I had to start tomatoes early. Thats all i was told. So I planted them all...almost 30 plants. Wife just laughed at me and I couldnt figure out why...then for the last couple of weeks I've been desperately trying to pawn off tomato plants on anyone I knew. 😆
I'm down to a more reasonable number now...sort of. 🙂
