Not at all, I do the same. I keep a pouch on my belt with the chainsaw tool, files & guides as well as a FA kit with tourniquet and lots of gauze.

Denob,If you got CAT tourniquets, make sure they are ready for use by taking them off the plastic wrapper and pulling back the last end of the Velcro ...
